breathing are all normal. though he may not be entirely out of the woods yet, the team and i agree all of our evaluations, and most important he, his clinical status, support the president's safe return home or he will be surrounded by 24/7.class medical care i would like to bring dr. dooley up to bring up more specifics. good afternoon. a brief update this morning. as dr. conley mentioned, the president continues to do very well. his vital signs this morning were notable for a temperature of 98.1, blood pressure was 134 over 78. his heart rate was 68 beats permitted -- per minute. he currently does not endorse any respiratory complaints. aside from our evaluation with the multidisciplinary team this morning, has maintained a full

schedule working on the white unit.medical i will turn over to dr. garibaldi to discuss therapeutics. good afternoon and i want to echo the sentiment of what an honor it is to be part of this wonderful team out walter reed. yesterday, the president received his third dose of remdesivir, and he tolerated that without difficulty and kidney functions are normal. our plan is to give him the third dose of remdesivir before he goes back to the white house. we made arrangements to deliver the fifth and final dose of his treatment at the white house tomorrow. he continues on dexamethasone. his plan for today is to get up and out of bed and eat and drink as he is able. i would like to turn it over to dr. jason blalock, infection disease specialist to give an update. thank you. >> good afternoon.

first of all, i want to say what an honor it has been to be part of this medical team behind me in the care for the president. since the president's arrival at walter reed, he has received medical management that remains in line with national clinical societal guidelines for treatment of covid-19 infections. and dr.ion, my self west campbell have worked closely with various laboratories in the area, state-of-the-art facilities to obtaining advanced diagnostic testing to inform the white house medical team on both the status of the president as well as his ability to transmit virus to others. also, we have worked very closely with the walter reed team to ensure that we are looking very closely at infection control prevention strategies and the right posture so the president can safely return to his residence. it overt, i will turn
