Yes, These a fun commercials, Yes, These have great picture quality, Yes, They are historical important.
BUT!
There is no mention of the fact that "The Flintstones" was originally aimed at adults, hence why it is sponsored by a Tobacco company. The show may seem silly now, But back in the 60's TV viewers didn't like shows about sex and smut, So even shows aimed at adults were cleaner-than-clean. My parents themselves have noted that the large amount of pop culture jokes in the show could only be understood by adults, and Hanna-Barbera themselves considered it an "Grown-Ups show". Of course, Kids still loved it, So Hanna-Barbera decided to get another sponsor after two seasons, after which the writing became sillier (But funnier!).
Still, This is a great collection of Retro Commercials, With some great advertising ideas. Anybody interested in the 50's/60's should see these, As long as they are taken in context.
