liz: he said the 2016 election was hi jacked. what did you think of what you heard, kaylee? >> this is exactly why they underestimated trump in 2016. this is exactly why biden is trailing trump in the polls right now. because the democratic elites, which nancy pelosi is absolutely one of them, failed to understand's trump's peel and pop list agenda he represents. that's because they don't understand the average american voter. trump always appealed to people because he speaks for them. they're tired of being treated by the beltway elite like no matter votes that only matter to the democrat party once every four year when is a presidential election runs around we're seeing a great example where voters in swing states like michigan and ohio are very concerned about the economy, liz. yet what are pelosi and democrats telling them? they're telling them oh, the economy is great. you shouldn't worry about it. that's the kind of dismissive

attitude that has really become the defining trait of the democratic party. that's what the voters are tired of. liz: biden said when asked about 30% grocery inflation. well, the people have money to spend. real back story of the last eight years is how scorched earth an elitist felt tone deaf and out of touch this democrat party is. this is not our grandparent's democrat party. no more tip o'neils or bo bradleys to do bipartisan law making and it's about nancy pelosi's "haughty arrogance". they were the party of working people and now they're so tone deaf and out of tough and they're going to hollywood to get george clooney and others to campaign for him? >> soon you'll say that about

liz: women are getting assaulted like this and they've got, you know, good to see you, joe. they've got 20das in court to go after trump. where is da bragg's task force on this? >> yeah absolutely tragic to have a new york treasurer like steve randomly assaulted in the streets. is anybody really surprised that this is happening? i mean, assaults are up across the city. 2024 is already outpacing '23 and '22 and saw assaults skyrockets to levels we haven't seen in decades. we just had some poor tourist in time square get randomly stabbed in the chest by some dirt bag who had been arrested dozens of times. we all know why this is happening. it's because of da alvin bragg that refuses to do his job

unless he's prosecuting president trump. revolving door criminal justice process and like bail reform and the worst part about all this, liz, is the criminals know they're not going to be held accountable for their actions and it's within our capacity to change if we threw the book at these dirt bags and provide safe streets for the communities. liz: what's interesting is the men and women in blue, they're getting shot at and killed. they're using drones and drone technology and catching robbers and retail thieves and talking in places like chicago, los angeles, you look at cops in a township north of fifth in pennsylvania, they're solving two-thirds of retail robberies using drones to catch these thieves. what do you think? system of articulation well, when resignations are up 47% across the country, retirements are up 20% and recruitment in the tank, of course we have to start leveraging technology in

we can get on scene and make sure we get control of it. we need to have the personnel in place to actually have them respond and is it going to save us and if you don't have cops on the street and here's an idea u maybe if we stop trying to treat police officers like scum in the country, i know crazy, and actually show them respect and appreciate what they're doing, we could actually attract the best and brightest and we could have fully staffed police departments to respond to all of this. liz: joe gamaldi, thank you so much for holding the line there, the men and women in blue. we appreciate you very much, joe. thanks for joining us. and join us tomorrow night, we've got a shot show. congressman jeff van drew. new york post columnist, miranda devine, she's an author too and thank you for watching "the evening edit" on fox business. that's it for us and time for my bodies at the bod --
