pete: he's trying to force nikki haley into answering a question that you don't win either way and answering with a republican base right now. rachel: what do you think of the theory? pete: it's not likely that donald trump is looking at nikki haley for a vice president. the premise of the attack doesn't work. the reason trump went after desantis so early is he was seen as most formidable threat and helping characterize and now he's not and calling him bird brained and he's not talking about her. there's no, i don't see any chance that trump turns around and picks either of them at this point. it's an ongoing dispute between desantis and haley. rachel: don't you think what's interesting about the question is it already presumes what many of our viewers believe that the primary is over and talking about which one will be the vice presidential, are you going to be the vice presidential candidate? it's not exactly what he's
