so just quickly, paul, your understanding is but law enforcement never even made their way into this case? >> that's correct. the police were never called, and and it's probably not a live video in the sense that somebody is sitting there monitoring it. so it's entirely believable that, you know, the hotel didn't know about it at the time. and then with her refusal to press charges, apparently at some point it surfaced enough that somebody got it and sold is it -- sold it to sean combs, it was buried. but obviously somebody kept a copy, cnn got ahold of it, but the statute of limitations would have run by now on any potential crime. will: i mentioned this was the subject of a settlement. it was a lawsuit fest by cassie ventura in november 2023. the video seems to kind of corroborate the allegations in that a lawsuit which were as follows, he followed her into the hallway -- this is what was in the lawsuit -- while yelling at her. he grabbed at her and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her causing glass to crash around them as she ran

measures. almost certainly they were acting on stuff that they were being told by witnesses, maybe other victims, and they were looking for corroborative evidence of sean combs' behavior. that stuff is a reservoir of evidence that can come in here. the agents are going to be looking at these civil cases and grabbing all of that stuff. and these cases tend to have a certain momentum. once the evidence starts to build, people lose their fear, and they start coming forward with further information. so i think we're going to be hearing a lot more about this homeland case and these lawsuits that not only he settled, but are pending are a reservoir of evidence that i'm sure they're going to dip into. will: fox news has reached out to representatives for sean combs but haven't gotten a response yet. paul, thank you so much for being with us. >> always, will. will: all right. more gotaway withs under the biden administration than the entire previous decade, but they don't seem too worried about a it. >> it's several million people. >> more people have been coming in under president biden than under president trump, is that

pete: michael cohen's set to take the stand once again on monday as we head into the home stretch of trump's new york trial. this follows an eye-opening week of testimony in court where trump's defense team pressed cohen on his history of lying under oath which our next guest says is more than enough to shred the former fixer's credibility. fox news legal analyst gregg jarrett join is thes now -- joins us now. i want to start quickly with a text that was shared with cohen by the defense which pointed out this phone call cohen said he had with trump discussing the payment was actually about something else. is so michael cohen had texted the bodyguard for donald trump, who can i speak to about harassing call toss my cell and office? keith shiller said, call me. when cohen was confronted with that reality, he didn't know what to say which is devastating for the prosecution's case. >> yeah, he stumbled, fumbled and mumbled. apparently, there was shock on

the faces of the jurors. it was shown that he lied to the jurors in the courtroom about a critical conversation he swore he had with donald trump, payments to stormy daniels. the phone data and the text, for example, that you just showed prove it never happened. it was a classic gotcha moment. the call was logged at slightly over a minute long. texts show he wasn't talking to donald trump, he was talking to shiller, his aide, and telling him to sic the secret service on a little kid who, you know, is 14 years old. it was devastating to bragg's case. it invites the standard jury instruction that says if you find that a witness has lied to you about one thing, you may disregard all of that witness' testimony. the judge, i think, now has to give the instruction, ask and without cohen there is no case against donald trump. nobody else ties him to any of the bogus crimes alleged in the indictment. pete: so, gregg, i guess that
