right now. >> is this the end of an era? klay thompson had arguably the worst game of his career as a warriors saw their season come to an end in sacramento. good evening. i'm ama daetz and i'm dan ashley thanks for joining us. >> the warriors were in this one for half. and then they just got buried in the second half in an avalanche. we'll begin our team coverage tonight with chris alvarez. he is live in sacramento. >> yeah this game raises all sorts of questions about the

team's future chris. >> yeah, it's so crazy because just like that the season is over. the warriors get dominated by the kings one 1894. and we'll show you a couple of the key moments in this game. as you guys mentioned a lot going on this summer for the warriors. the beam is lit tonight in sacramento. they were in control nearly the whole game. golden state led eight six with just over ten minutes left in the first quarter. and after that they could never regain the lead. all kings keegan murray game-high, 32, had eight from deep. steph scored 22. it was doubled and tripled all night. klay thompson scoreless zero for ten and 31 minutes, possibly his last game in a warriors uniform. dubs fall by 24 as a season all of a sudden comes to a close. >> now you win one game, win one game. then you're right where we expect to be. but we're going home. so, definitely frustrating. frustrating, disappointing to say the least, just kind of upset to lost. was a fun group to come to work with every day. so kind of sucks that that comes to an end. but

still something left in the tank for another championship. >> when you have a bad year, you're going to do better the next year. you're going to bounce back. >> certainly an emotional night for many warriors fans. if that was the last time that klay, steph and draymond took the court together, it's been a heck of a run j.r. stone abc seven news. >> disappointing for fans and the team. all right well new details tonight. five people were arrested at sunnyvale's google offices. google employees protesting the israel-hamas war were camped out inside most of the day and live streamed the events. police say most protesters left mid-day before the five remaining were arrested for trespassing around 630 tonight. the group wants google to stop $1 billion contract with the israeli government. they also say palestinian, arab and muslim googlers have been censored. google did not respond to requests for comment. pro palestinian protesters who shut down the golden gate bridge monday are not yet being charged with a crime. the district attorney says her office needs

more time. and as abc seven news reporter tim jonze explains, since this wasn't the first major bridge disruption, many are hoping the protesters will be held accountable. free, free, free palestine protests outside the san francisco county jail tuesday. >> dozens gathering to demand the release of the 26 people who were arrested the day before for shutting down the golden gate bridge as part of a wider pro-palestinian protest. those 26 people arrested by the california highway patrol and booked into custody on multiple charges, including felony conspiracy. >> these unprecedented this that this felony charges are being made. >> earlier in the day, san francisco district attorney brooke jenkins announcing that her office wouldn't be charging those protesters by a tuesday afternoon deadline, saying her team needs more time and help from witnesses who were stuck on the bridge stressing, however, that this is an open and active investigation and that charges are indeed coming. >> we support those who want to make sure that their first amendment rights are observed,

and that their point of views are heard, but where we must draw the line is when acts of free speech endanger our public safety. >> following jenkins announcement, some of those detained were slowly released from jail. some in the group becoming hostile when we attempted to film them. >> don't don't feel, my friend. >> we have been protesting and not obstructing traffic ways. we have been writing to them. we've been changing the way that we vote for the best that we can and we're still not being listened to. >> monday's incident was the second time protesters have shut down major bay area bridges and freeways in recent months, and some, like southern california assemblywoman kate sanchez, want to see protesters held accountable. we talked to a spokesperson from her office tuesday. >> they're blocking not only people just trying to get to work and trying to make ends meet. they're blocking people, trying to get to the hospital. they're blocking people trying to pick up their kids from school. >> sanchez has introduced a bill in the state legislature that would double the minimum fine for protesters who intentionally

obstruct the flow of traffic in any way that prevents the passage of emergency vehicles. a proposal her office says has gotten great public support. and once she's determined to see through following monday's protest, honestly, they want us to do more. >> and we feel that we want to do more to we want to make sure that these people are punished to the fullest extent of the law in san francisco. >> tim johns, abc seven news. >> police in san pablo say they found the remains of a woman who went missing with her daughters months ago. a prosecutor has already charged the daughter's husband with their murder. 40 year old tola and her 74 year old mother, qua tran, disappeared from their home in san pablo back in september. police arrested ley's husband last month. at the time, investigators had not found the women's bodies. now, they say tran's dna came up as a match for remains found in the oakland estuary weeks after the women disappeared. today, crews searched the estuary again, but they did not find ley's remains. new developments tonight in a

story that is rocking san francisco's political world, a rising star in city politics just resigned and could be facing an investigation after reports of abuse published in the sf standard. and our media partners at the standard spoke with three women, accusing john jacobo of domestic violence and sexual assault. the women told the standard they all filed police reports but say they just didn't go anywhere. john jacobo was a director for the housing nonprofit tenants and owners development corporation today on getting answers, reporter josh cain told us women feared further violence from jacobo if they spoke out. >> these accusations very explosive, very damaging and there was a lot of fear for not only their professional careers but also their safety. >> cain announced jacobo's resignation this evening. he shared two other updates in the wake of his reporting. san francisco's police chief says his department is investigating the three women's reports, and san francisco supervisor hillary

ronen is now calling for a hearing on how the city handles sexual harassment and assault cases. we spoke with her at city hall. this is an issue she's been focused on for years to not see any progress after we've put resources and created a new department to focus in on that issue, it's a real disappointment. >> jacobo did not respond to the standard's request for comment on this story. >> in the east bay, voters will decide whether alameda county district attorney pamela price can keep her job. the registrar of voters says enough valid signatures were turned in to get the recall on a ballot. the board of supervisors will now decide when a special election will be held. recall supporters say price is soft on crime. some crime victims are among those who support the recall, including the wife of tv news guard kevin nishida, who was shot and killed more than two years ago. >> i cried for kevin because she can lead this office. she can leave this office. she can continue her career elsewhere. but kevin can never get out of

the grave. >> those opposed to the recall include the aclu of northern california. they view it as part of a broader strategy to roll back criminal justice reforms. new details tonight on a plane crash in watsonville that killed three people. this was back in 2022. a report by the national transportation safety board says pilot error is likely to blame for the collision between two planes coming into land at the airport. both pilots were in cessna. one was a single engine. the other a multi engine. the ntsb says the pilot of the multi engine airplane failed to see the other plane. it adds the pilots did not communicate with each other until one of them was about a mile from the airport. >> a lot more to come here, from flipping houses to doing time for fraud. what landed a bay area television star in jail? >> san francisco is looking for ways to build a better bay area by revitalizing its downtown. the restaurant that just reopened that packs a view like no other. >> an elephant on the loose and darting through heavy traffic in

>> opening statements in former president donald trump's hush money trial could begin as soon as monday, as the jury selection process picked up today, seven jurors were picked and the process will resume thursday. a total of 18 people are needed. the former president faces 34 charges of falsifying business records to cover up a payment to stormy daniels. he has denied any wrongdoing. >> in the south bay, a man who once was a star on a house flipping show is now headed to jail. instead of remodeling homes, prosecutors say he was taking the money and spending it on lavish items for himself. abc seven news reporter lauren martinez has the story. >> i think this is a major real estate fraud case. there are 11 victims here who are still dealing with the fallout. >> a former hgtv star and house flipper from los gatos has been sentenced to four years in county jail. on tuesday, charles todd hill, star of the show flip it to win. it was also ordered to pay close to $10 million for

real estate and financial fraud. prosecutor juan tran said hill scams, including a ponzi scheme, impacted 18 homes in silicon valley. >> the point was to purchase the home and remodel them and sell them for a profit. he would take the money that was given to remodel the home and spend it on luxury cars, vacations, partying , as he has stated. and then in order to account for that, he would label it as construction costs. >> victims were left with either unfinished homes or barely finished homes to finish themselves. >> businesses were shut down. one victim lost his home, so these the consequences of his fraud are far reaching. >> ten years ago, bo eckstein was on the show. flip it to win it with hill and had a positive experience with him overall, eckstein said the house flipping show was more for viewers and not the most realistic glimpse into the business. i think the

to be kept ready to go, and there should be a statewide mutual aid program and an evacuation plan. the hawaii attorney general also has been invested, been investigating, and is supposed to release its first report tomorrow. governor newsom welcomed prince hawkins of norway today in a show of unity over the environment. both california and norway signed a memorandum of understanding pledging to fight climate change. norway's minister of trade and industry also took part. >> norway is a world leader in emission free ferries, and green transport is of course, one of the areas where we see potential for more cooperation in the years to come. >> the first state in the united states to require alternative fuel vehicles by 2035. we dominate in electric vehicles where dominating on battery storage, 757% increase in the past two years. >> california has pledged to work together with canada, new zealand, sweden and japan to tackle the climate crisis. >> san francisco's iconic

rotating restaurant that sat still for 17 years is spinning again tonight. the revitalization of san francisco's downtown is something we are focused on to build a better bay area. the bar at the top of the hyatt regency on the embarcadero held a soft opening tonight we have the inside story of what it took to get the legendary space turning again, turning back the clock in a once iconic space that's been still for so long. >> the buzz around the hotel today has been just electrifying. >> truly, hotel managers at the hyatt regency are happy about the chatter, but it's this sound that has the hotel's longtime engineer smiling. >> this is really awesome. >> dennis alker has worked at the hyatt regency for almost as long as the hotel has existed. he started there just a few years after the equinox restaurant started spinning, giving diners a panoramic view from the financial district to treasure island. >> it was busy up here, and in 2007, he watched those gears grind to a halt, the restaurant

change. >> yes. let's get to abc seven news meteorologist sandhya patel. make it stick, sandhya, we're going to make it stick, at least for a couple of days. >> all right, dan and let's take a look at a live picture right now from our sutro tower camera, lookg at just unlimited visibility as we look wards the golden gate bridge. it's not like that in half moon ba visibility is down to five miles. let's talk about the high temperatures this month. i know people have been complaining about how cool it's been. well, if you look at the number of days below average in blue, that's nine days. we've had seven above average days in terms of temperatures for oakland. and today was different. it was above average. and we're going to keep it going with the spring warmth tomorrow. oakland hitting 75 degrees. santa rosa 79 along with livermore. look at san jose. it's going to hit 81 degrees. all right. if you do have a pool and you're inland, well, it's going to be a good day to be out in the pool in the morning at 8 a.m. it's still going to be in the 50s, but rapidly it warms up into the 70s for the early afternoon. so you might want to get out to the pool to beat the

heat. and speaking of the heat, look at the statewide temperatures. 96 in palm springs tomorrow afternoon. you think it's going to be warm here? 59 in tahoe, 83 san luis obispo. high pressure building in. that's what brought us the warmth today. it's going to continue to build. and so this is going to bring warm weather to not just the bay area, but other parts of the state as well. high clouds are passing through right now. we do have some patchy fog around half moon bay. temperatures are running higher than where they were yesterday by six degrees in napa, seven degrees in san jose. looking at those temperatures, they're in the 50s and 60s for all of you. pretty comfortable half moon bay, though. you've dropped down to 48 degrees with that fog. east bay hills camera giving you a great view overnight tonight. some fog and clouds tomorrow. so it's going to be summer like warmth. and for the rest of the week a dry pattern is going to continue. so if you do have weekend plans don't you worry. tomorrow morning we start out with 40s and 50s. by noontime those temperatures are rising. you could see some 70s showing up, and by 4 p.m. it's into the 80s coast side in the 60s. so first

come to an end less than one year since the warriors actually beat the kings on this floor in game seven of the first round series, sacramento gets revenge in a big way tonight. golden center or golden one center just was rocking here a whiteout. that's a great great fan base up here in sacramento. looking to get revenge against stephen curry who put up 50 in game seven last year in the first harrison barnes misses and de'aaron fox the put back slam. what's a fox say. he had 24 kings in control pretty much the whole way down ten in the second jonathan kuminga scored six straight points for the warriors. he had 16 but the dubs down 15 come. he looking to keep the season alive hits the three and 14. play. finished with 22. didn't get any help though. he was double and triple teamed all night. 8875 kings in the third. keegan murray three of his game high 32. he hit eight threes and klay thompson and what could be his final game with the warriors zero for ten with six missed threes zero points that hurt kings up big in the fourth.
