pickleball players are taking their case to the court after they say their rich neighbors convinced the city to give them the boot. >> just because you don't like something, it doesn't mean you get to complain about it. at the end of the day, get your way. >> and watch your step on the sand. the invaders, keeping themselves by the hundreds. hi, i'm sara donchey. so we have seen a few of them. picket lines can tend to look the same. you've got the striking workers, the signs, the chance, and a lot of times the demands sound kind of similar too. higher wages. everybody wants that. more staffing. that kind of thing. but this strike today in daly city called out something different that sounds like the ultimate irony. 400 healthcare workers say their healthcare is so bad it is actually putting them at risk. they're

demanding the hospital reverse recent changes to its healthcare plan. they say starting in january, they were given an impossible choice. bay $6,000 to keep seeing their regular doctors or accept a much more restricted plan that severely limits access to pediatric and ob/gyn care and only at a few select facilities. >> i've been trying to get an mri myself, and i have been unable to get authorization for that because they don't want to take their own workers here as patients. >> another worker tells our kelsi thorud the new plan is limiting coverage for her family. >> reporter: rochelle otua has worked here for years. she grew up just blocks from the campus. but now rochelle says she's in a tough spot. she says the hospital changed its health

insurance provider significantly limiting where rochelle's family including her six-month-old daughter can get care. >> her pediatric doctor was no longer covered. and my ob is not covered. we are now out of network with all of our doctors. >> reporter: rochelle lives in sunnyvale. she says her new insurance only works at seton and john muir health. both of which is close to or even more than an hour away. she worries night and day about what would happen and how much it would cost if her daughter had medical emergency. >> i grew up with chronic asthma. i actually have a food allergy. right now at this point, what stresses me out the most, we're starting her on baby food, so she is learning how to eat baby food. i'm afraid that what if she has an allergic reaction to some kind of food? what if she ends up having asthma like me? >> reporter: she told me she

feels betrayed. >> i work full time for a hospital. and it is not fair that i have to worry on whether or not i can afford to get my daughter proper healthcare. when i give up how many hours of my day instead of being home with her. i have to be at work. >> reporter: that's why she joined hundreds of her coworkers on the two-day strike outside the hospital. demanding better benefits. she told me she's doing all of this, picketing, speaking out for one reason and one reason only. to make sure her daughter has the medical care she needs and deserves. >> i'm only fighting for my daughter. that's one of the main reasons why i'm in this strike. >> reporter: rochelle plans on coming back out here, joining the picket line again on tuesday. she says she hopes

this strike shows the hospital just how serious these workers are about making these changes. so for its part, they have offered a 16% pay hike over three years, along with free and medical benefits, and up to 400 hours annually of accrued pto. they added in the statement, we are disappointed with the union's decision to walk off the job in the middle of our negotiations at the expense of patient care. the hospital went on to say their priority is to provide uninterrupted care to patients. and do you know who else is on strike? a's fans. their team faced the giants tonight in a preseason battle of the bay. a's fans have been through a lot with the teams impending move to vegas, and all the drama that has come with that. as if there wasn't enough bad blood between the people and team ownership. fans are calling foul on a move to change the rules around tailgating at the coliseum. how

they dry out and they lose their color. they are harmless to humans, but they can still deliver a mild sting. . >> i've always heard the instructions of what you're suppose to do when that happens. i don't want an fcc violation, but i don't know if that works or not. >> it is a friend's episode of that back in the day. >> i have never personally experienced that kind of remedy. i mean i guess. . >> i mean the year is young. and just in the summertime here. >> thank you so much. >> it is good to have goals. let's take a look at what happened as we head to the last few week. patchy fog will dissipate quickly. sunny, pleasant conditions on tuesday before the wet, cooler pattern reemerges on wednesday. the first storm system moving in on wednesday, wednesday evening. a stronger wind will head our way on friday into saturday. just an unsettled pattern taking us through easter weekend. while we get the sunshine tomorrow, it will help the electricity generation numbers towards the top of the scale on tuesday

because we will see blue skies over the days. and as the clouds will return with eventually the chance for showers. another view looking to the east from salesforce tower. you can see the clouds developing. and everybody between 50, 55 degrees. there will be a whole lot of variations by early tomorrow morning. everybody between 40 and 50. coolest spots in the north bay valleys. the warmest locations around the bay and into the santa clara valley. but everybody within a few degrees of normal for late march. let's take a look at those forecast highs for tomorrow, which will also be within a couple of degrees of normal. into the upper 60s for san jose and morgan hill. all these numbers, a few degrees warmer. especially antioch getting up to 68 degrees. that'll be one of the warm spots. the cool spots, 58 degrees. only a 10-degree difference there. low to mid-60s in the bay including 61 degrees in san francisco. it is 1 degree below average. we can handle it. temperatures reaching up into the mid to upper 60s by tomorrow

afternoon. but these are some of the warmer temperatures that we're going to experience for the next several days as the rain chances are going to return. let's track it with futurecast with an increase in cloud cover after the sun goes down tomorrow night. but we will see more clouds and sunshine as we begin the day on wednesday. and shower chances are going to increase. hit or miss shower activity. very light stuff at first. becomes widespread as we head through wednesday afternoon into wednesday evening. light to moderate rain. no flooding threat with this system. it will move out by wednesday night with lingering off and on showers. still in the forecast on thursday. it won't be a washout, but one of those days where you need to keep the umbrella handy. the next storm system will be lining up, heading in on friday with heavier rain and gustier winds. but the winds will be noticeable on wednesday. i don't think that they will be that strong for the strongest winds, mostly in that late afternoon and evening time frame through tracking the winds here at 11:00 a.m. on wednesday through 5:00 p.m. on thursday. and the gustier conditions on friday, not

likely to prompt the wind advisory, but may be worth noticing as they head into easter weekend. the first storm system, it is not going to be a huge rainmaker. a tenth of an inch of rain on the widespread basis and a few spots overachieving on that. not much on top of it with the lingering showers on friday. and then thursday's system will be more substantial and there will be more rain adding up on top of that on saturday with the potential for a little bit of localized flooding where it san excessive rainfall according to the prediction center. not a huge cause for concerns, but we will keep an eye on things to be on the safe side. so one more day with our coastal to inland difference in temperatures, but only a 10-degree swing. after that, everybody is about five degrees of each other. just one seven-day forecast for the whole bay area and a five-day stretch of unsettled weather that will take us from wednesday and easter sunday, with the drier half of the weekend will be sunday and still not going to be entirely
