activities and get let's pick on san jose. using you as an example. all of us throughout the bay will cool down into early next week but for now we see dry skies and a beautiful opportunity to get out into any outdoor activities and get fresh air. new bay area protests over the war in gaza. google employees were arrested over a sit in. this is inside their bosses office in sunnyvale. they wanted the world to see this as they live stream the event as cops moved in the protesters have a big problem with the google project nimbus. it is a contract that is so between google and the israeli government. what started outside, ended up inside. the ceos office. that is trespassing according to police, who came and arrested the protesters. this happened in google offices in new york and california. we reached out to google and from their perspective the protest physically impeded other employees ability to work and that is a policy violation. protesting employees are on leave and their access to google systems are cut off.

the google protest over gaza followed the monday morning snarl that made national news. protesters shut down the golden gate bridge, the 880 and that lasted for hours. they went to jail but by this morning more than two dozen are out on bail. before their release, dozens more gathered outside san francisco county jail. so far, the 26 arrested have not been charged. >> we are here demanding that no charges are filed and everybody is immediately released. >> none of the 26 arrested have been charged. da brooke jenkins said in order to do that she has to see some more connecting evidence. >> we have to be able to attribute specific conduct to specific individuals. what role they played that they were, one, present and they were participating and not simply an onlooker who happened to move forward into a crowded area. >> who is who? that is what

coffee shop experience no one else was providing on this block, they went for it. >> if we don't do it, someone else might, at least we can represent the cultures where we come from. and do it our way. >> reporter: almost 5 years later it is having an impact. some of the first customers are so loyal they even own shirts that celebrate excelsior coffee. >> we love it. it is a very vibrant neighborhood. tons of families here. just a super diverse group of people. >> reporter: with the opportunity to get some help to dress up the storefronts on mission street came to businesses like lea's, someone -- many jumped at the chance. you can see the impact next door where restaurant has new exteriors and interiors, thanks to the free pick neighborhood design project. the company uses a.i. to help designers create renderings for the revitalization work it is doing on the street. >> to have a beautiful storefront or assets that help cultivate that brand , it is

something that is typically used a doctor's offices for sedation. this case is not connected to her brother's murder case. the seventh street jail is on lockdown this morning and expected to be lifted sometime today. the lockdown came after multiple reports of inmates attacking staff over the weekend. the seventh street jail is one of two county jail buildings that were put on lockdown this weekend because of a series of alleged attacks by inmates on staff. the other lockdown at the san bruno jail will not be lifted until later this week. the san francisco sheriff's department blames the reason like a violence on staffing shortages and overcrowding in both county jails . and mason the san bruno and san francisco locations cannot leave their cells from except for court and medical appointments. congratulations is in order for kate paye. she follows and tara vanderveer's wonderful footsteps after the legendary coach announced last week she would retire. she is a former cardinal and even help them win two of the three national championships and one is a player . the other as an
