developing new laws, the coast guard continues to search the waters near half moon bay for four people went missing after they were reported their sailboat was sinking. authorities said the boat was about 65 mi. initially we thought it was of pillar point and we just talked with the coast guard and they said the latest in prison for them shows there were 65 mi. off the coast of monterey bay. >> that is the latest in the last half-hour. we have crews on the scene this morning. we want to get the latest with that. we have kron fours jackie sissel off. he has been there following the latest out of the coast guard station on the peninsula. that is where helicopters are standing bay. medical helicopters. again jackie sissel is following the story lives will visit with him later on getting the latest from the coast guard station on the peninsula.

work out. >> thank you will. >> and oakland couple bicycling for south america has been missing for month. 27 year-old jamie meal and 27 year-old garrett hand were last seen in lima, peru back on january 26th. the couple's tour of argentina, chile and peru began back in november and is well- documented in post on their face book pages. friends and family became worried after post stopped on january 25th. the u.s. state department and the u.s. embassy in lima are searching for that couple. >> following the latest rumors it appears that alec smith is going to be traded. the rumors have been swirling around the former starting quarterback. this morning multiple reports from an f l .com at alex smith being sent off to the kansas city chiefs. at this point neither side is confirming or denying the move. however, some reports say the trade is all about the gun. no indication of what the 49ers might receive

traffic. >> i do have my eye on a couple of developing not spots. they're not full- blown yet. i want to give you a quick heads up. north bound 800 the nimitz freeway in san leandro at marina boulevard a vehicle fire blocking the right lane. the damage has been done. read on the screen stretching down into hayward almost backing up to the san mateo bridge. >> the speeds are below 25 mi. an hour. they are closer to 10 mi. an hour. slow and go conditions allow yourself extra time. you are smooth sailing past the scene of the accident approaching downtown oakland. >> on the other side of the bay another developing not spots out about 101, and mountain view we have a multicar crash blocking of the lines there. red and yellow on your screen backing up your commute to the dumbarton bridge. again this is a very slow and go right. i do not think you should alternate grounded

cleared in mountain view, 101 around san antonio. >> we are scene delays stretching past the dumbarton bridge. >> thank you erica police in oakland are investigating the deaths of a man whose body was found in an actuary sunday afternoon. officers responded to reports just after to the body was floating in the water by the docks of the oakland estusa ry. firefighters as is the police to remove the body from the water. the agent and of the man has not been released. >> oakland police are still looking for a man shot at an ac transit bus over the weekend. it happened early saturday morning near the intersection of 55th avenue and international boulevard. i shot was fired at the bus, shattering its back and up. police say the four of the nine passengers on board had minor injuries. this the second time and a.c. transit buses and shot at less than a month. plaza to it happen

searching the waters of monterey bay for for people who went missing after they reported their sailboat was sinking. authorities say the boat was about 65 mi. west of monterey when they call for help yesterday afternoon. jackie sissel is giving us of the latest update on the search. >> we are approaching 16 hours since the last three of traffic was receive from the boat. they continue to have resources out there searching the waters off of monterey. there's new information that the coast guard release the name of the boat the charm below. they're asking if the public knows anything about the boat are who owned that boat to please let them know because they do not have any information. around 420
