keaton. but today it's a different story. kimberly's mother, biggest friend and cheerleader now suffers from dementia, really can't speak or write and sometimes becomes violent. kimberly made the heart-wrenching decision to move her into a home. >> my mom was aware enough to know that she had been left. and that was really horrible. >> your mom is non-verbal? >> mm-hm. >> how hard is it not to talk to her anymore? >> in many ways i've said good bye to the old mom. my brother said it's death by paper cut. >> but kimberly has found faith in the face of this struggle. and she's written about it. there's joy watching her play with her children and her mom can laugh. and there's comfort knowing her husbandpaisley is there as her rock. >> he was there on the hard days to hold me and let me cry.
