>> 9.13, and things are starting to heat the heat up and sign up and wondering we're going to top off today. that's 5 out. yeah. how warm is going to get today, john, where those temperatures go this week? yeah. so today a little warmer than yesterday was tomorrow going to be even warmer yet and opposed to last week which we cool the ride off into the weekend. we're not doing that so much this time around. so really settling in for the long haul with this drier and comfortable weather that we have your view outside right now at the bay looking a little hazy out there. we do have some marine layer that is pushed in right along the bay itself. a high pressure ridge having a bit of a capping inversion going on right now. that's keeping areas right along the bay shore, a little bit cooler. but our inland areas will have the chance to get a little bit warmer. radar shows you the clear skies that we are overall seeing at this point started with some fog, seeing a lot less of that at
9:15 am
this point. now, high pressure ridge is in place. as i mentioned, this will consistently keep a striped. and unlike last week where we cool down into the weekend, not so much this time around in for the warmth all through this forecast today will be our first day in the low 70's for a lot of areas further inland, even reaching the mid to even upper 70's for some of us as we move our way into tomorrow, expecting some low 80's. let's get a look at where temperatures will be today. 60's in the city as well as at the coastline. lot of 70's elsewhere in the bay area today will be noticeably warmer than yesterday was so very pleasant day to spend a little time outside, especially with the days getting a little longer. now, it's a lot more inviting after work to just step out there and get some time in oakland and richmond sitting at 70 degrees fillet. how at 73 today, santa rosa at 74. tomorrow's temperatures are going to be in the low 80's as will be thursday's for some of our inland spots and settling in for some low to mid 70's this weekend. great. all right. on eve of that old
9:16 am
yesterday, we were at a standstill along 8.80. >> this morning, no standstill was still just a little slow and sluggish because of the normal flow of traffic. 23 minutes only intial into oakland is you're gonna hop on friday. it's going to take about 28 minutes to make that drive into the city right now. bay bridge recovering from earlier accident. you see taking that accident off the bridge. there. 15 minute ride into the city. so that did not cause major issues. 18 minutes on the senate, a bridge to little slow long, gun on that bridge. well, the one in the south bay just short of hour. 58 minutes. 85 to apart might be a little better option selanne to down to 37. 48 minutes. aria. james, back to you. >> time now to talk winners and losers on wall street with financial rob expert rob black, who joins us this morning. rob, when we're looking at market sort of just wavering a little bit, were in the green, not by much. but what's your take? what he watching? >> yeah, the economy's doing great jobs are going great. the stock market's doing kind
9:17 am
of sideways. it's down 3.7% from its all-time highs. but it feels meant underwhelming bank of america health care had great quarters. that means we're in earnings season again. that's important that we we're dining. we're watching the middle east on because of potentially higher oil prices, which is to what's going on between iran, israel and israel and hamas of know, california's unemployment is the highest in the nation at 5.3%. a lot of people blame the fast food minimum wage on that. so there's one of your repercussions there's a lot of finger pointing going on right now, james and trusting ok from a fast food to ice cream. tell me about this, ben and jerry story. it today. >> free cone day or when is this? that's today 12 to 8 unite. like or junk food. yeah. going do a 1 million scoops last year. they did 970,000. and what's really cool about it is they say you want to get back in line to get a second go ahead. great way to build a that's pretty
9:18 am
interesting company. socially speaking and they were a bad fit when they showed up at the corporate america. but for the guests, corporate europe, but they've come back into the private market is going interesting. okay. and let me ask you to we did a story earlier the antitrust lawsuit potentially >> for live nation, the parent company of ticketmaster. what when you think the repercussions of that are going to be on the stock or just the company in general. >> you're going to hate me for saying the some lower stock in the short term, higher stock in the long term be investigated as a monopoly. take a look at microsoft and it's typically good for business in the long term. this is a political issue this year. big cap because it's political season and both republicans, democrats want to say, you know, these guys are out of control. we need to break them less to get fully broken up. i see the stock higher in one year. >> interesting. okay. well, not hire the trump media stock djt. it's been on a steady slide since it really since it
9:19 am
how's it doing? i know it dropped like 18 points yesterday. i think the company so they're going to sell more shares. and that, of course, dilutes the value of existing shareholder. what's happening? >> nothing you have the numbers quite a little bit mixed up about okay. yesterday they were down 18% last week. the dow donald j. trump jt does terrorism was down 20% since it's been all-time high on march. 26 down 70%. so anyone who has bought this is lost money, very, very poor no earnings. and it looks kind of like a way for a lot of people to pull money out of the company who donald j trump is going to number one to benefit. he's seen as well. go from about 6.2 billion in stock down to 1.7 billion going lower. so his last 5 billion dollars in less than a month. of note. they did say they come up with the streaming channel today. jt did. and they'll have content
9:20 am
like religious content and new stations and films and documentaries. they're going to try to become a netflix and i'm like good lock that cost billions to be coming up. flex. yeah, but yeah, i don't think the stock is i didn't get a single digits in the next 6 months in large part. it's just very few subscribers to the there's 30 people using it other than donald himself. it's interesting. you say 6 months because that's that's the window he can't. >> take any stock out or sell any stock until he's had it for 6 months. right? that's right. they have to report earnings every 3 months. and it could be a wild called that i've never seen a stock this broken this fast. >> and i can't wait for that calls to see what cycle one of the planning. what's the we'll learn more in the next 5 months to say said, we say yes, ok? so maybe that not the best investment, but >> caitlin clark, collectibles apparently our i mean, women's basketball. it's all the rage right now. women soccer as well. she was drafted number
9:21 am
one by the indiana fever last night. >> she helped the ncaa ratings topped the men's tournament this year. 14 million viewers watched the finals of the ncaa. i think largely because of her tickets for the very first game that she plays against the connecticut center up 91%. you got 2 million instagram followers while she's got deals with nike. gatorade, xfinity state farm you. it sounds like tiger woods or sounds like michael jordan but she's the first really marketable woman in sports and collectibles in particular. she's got 7 tv right now selling for $10,000 and one sold last week or last month for 20,000. and i was the record-breaking 3528 point career. i think card. so she's she's all that in a bucket of chicken. no woman in sports has ever been as marketable as she isn't done. i see all the power to the women. i prefer women soccer and women's basketball myself at this point in time. very interesting. you know, who
9:22 am
also sell product and is very marketable. beyonce. >> have you heard about the western wear that's getting a big boost because of her latest album and we call it in the industry. the beyonce boots are up 20% week-over-week since the carter cowboy album came out. and it's just interesting. celso levis is benefiting from it. that's a bay area company i don't know. so turn taylor swift is jumping into out right now. so feels like we're going to get to another year and beyond dropping an album next year, which is can be part 3. yeah. a lot of people think it could be a jazz out more on r and b, something totally different for her. >> so you can bet on beyonce. you can bet on taylor. you can definitely on caitlin clark as well. wow, that's fascinating stuff. all right, rob, thank you as always are going rob again tomorrow. so if there is a story, >> beyonce company or whatever, let them know facebook, twitter, you've got to social media handles there and you also got his e-mail it rob at rob black dot com, thanks for up to tomorrow.

well, gas prices are now almost $0.10 higher than they were last week, at least according to triple a nowhere in the bay area. we'll likely find any gas under 5 bucks. the good news is gas is at least one to $0.2 cheaper than they were yesterday. so maybe they're trending in the right direction. but you can see. >> yeah, you can see here on the list it doesn't look good. napa county, san mateo county, 5, 70 75. 76. it's a little cheaper in san francisco by couple pennies. you go to the east bay. we've got alameda county and contra costa county there at 5. 67 5.62, respectively. it's a penny cheaper in the south bay,
9:26 am
santa clara county, 5.61. and that's the same average price we're seeing up in solano county. >> to those are regular prices try to save. but my car went paying class. and so i had to get the good stuff. a top psychological survey found that social media features like the infinite scrolling. they call that doomscrolling. it's really risky for the mental health of young people. there's a report in the american psychological association journal and they found that endless scrolling can cause a distraction in young people's developing brains. and so they're urging tech companies to do something about it and take greater steps to protect adolescents, mental health. they argue that the agents trick shuns that the apps to now don't really do that. i mean, kids can easily, as we all know, work around that the report and offer any specific changes. they want to see on the apps. but they say that parents can also play an important role in limiting social media use for your children. google is they say reducing california news
