affecting millions of americans already and i have to say considering what other people have dealt with, this is sort of the glancing blow for us but it is a big old nuisance. so we will be dealing with heavy rain, eventually gusty thunderstorms out of this eventually. but for now it is not too bad, to say we can start things off very quickly with more regional zoom here, on storm scan three. i want you to note that is trail. your eyes draw to that trail of rain with the heavier rain over west virginia, there are flash flood watches posted in these areas because of that kind of heavy rain. at the moment we don't have anything like that here and at the moment we don't have anything at all, except for a couple clouds, overhead. you can see very leading edge of the moisture starting to creep ever so closer. through harrisburg we have seen showers, western most corner of the lancaster county we have seen some showers and this will pick up for us with time here. we will get this front out before we can say it is done. it will bring us heavy rain before it is completely donnas

police are still searching for two men wanted in that double shooting that as you mentioned left two men hospitalized and gunfire shot through vehicles and also homes in olney. >> four park unattended vehicles struck by gunfire. we also found three homes, of the 200 block of wellens street that were struck by gunfire. >> reporter: it all happened arm 12:30 near third and west wellens avenue when police responded to multiple 911 calls after a reported dispute in that area. >> from witnesses and there are multiple witnesses there was some or the of argument. >> reporter: when authorities arrived they have learned that a 20 year-old male with the grazed won to the chest and 23 year-old male shot in the hip were taken to einstein hospital for private vehicles and listed in stable condition. fortunately the the victim count stops there. >> one of the homes, bullet actually went in through the living room wall, entered

worker at a texas hospital has tested positive for ebola. that health care worker reported a tuesday fever and was immediately isolated at the hospital. worker was among those who took care of thomas eric duncan after being diagnosed with ebola. meantime president obama holds a conference call with the leaders of the britain, france, italy and germany to discuss ebola out break in west africa. learning from past mistakes cdc has establish an ebola response team, they will travel to anyplace in the country where an ebola diagnosis confirmed. meanwhile number of people who cared for the the patient thomas eric duncan grows. health officials are monitoring 76 medical reporters for symptoms, and dallas nurse who was infected while treating duncan we are told she's improving, nina pham is in good condition and gives thanks to her supporters. more preparations are underway in our area the in fight against ebola. delaware county officials are gearing up for an event later this morning that will focus

on keeping schools safe infection is diseases like ebola. jane carabao joins us from drexel hill with more on the safe schools summit, jan, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, erika. this is an annual safe schools sum tonight delaware county but this year there are a couple of new concerns, namely, enterovirus and as you mentioned ebola and how schools can prepare for a possible out break here and this discussion specifically about ebola comes a day after county officials formed an ebola task force. as ebola takes its toll in west africa health officials in the delaware valley are preparing for a potential case of their own. >> people are understandably nerve news this day and age, a contagious virus is only a plane ride away. >> reporter: council chairman thomas says delaware county is ready to handle ebola should a case develop. this discussion turns to school preparedness but the entire county is already

just past 5:23. time for traffic and weather together, good morning katie. >> good morning. we are tracking rain here today and this will be a heavy rain, at point throughout the course of the day and into tonight as well as bringing us gusty thunderstorms here. we've got basically a wall of rain heading our way currently bringing in the heavier rain with flash flood watches across the virginias and into maryland and that will also be a concern. we are just waiting on it. it is just time. eventually as morning progresses you can see showers already picking up to the north and western suburbs later this morning towards the afternoon, some have of those rain showers become straight up soaking downpours. depending on your location you could be looking at a soggy lunch hour. meanwhile heading in to tonight rain will be out there.
