Subject: Patient with patience

A doctor conducts experiments on an open stomach wound from 1822-1834, keeping careful notes which supposedly have benefitted medical science to this day. We are never told what precise knowledge was gained from his experiments, so the story is a bit unsatisfying. Charles Bronson plays the patient.
