be loud or noisy or excited fans down there, do you? >> al: we'll have to borrow drew brees' sons head phones. >> cris: we have the opening game and halloween night. >> al: we've both been to new orleans. every night is halloween down there. >> cris: i like new orleans. it's a heck of a city. it is going to be fun. it's really a rematch of what arguably was the best game of the season last year. all the pressure, the back and forth nature. two great quarterbacks going at it. up and down the field. overcoming turnovers and it comes down to a last second kick. it was as good as this league can offer for a championship game. >> al: second and four. and that's going to take us to the two-minute warning in canton, ohio.

dallas cowboys tonight have outgained the bengals 299-178. one touchdown in the game, and it was scored by the defense. there's rich dal rimpfle, the public relations maven of the cowboys going over things with romo.

about the 2 yard line. that's a 64-yard run back for the rookie out of texas. >> cris: happiest guy on the team other than shipley is carson palmer. he's selling this kid to everybody. he really thinks he's something special. maybe not the purest flat-out speed, but you see the quickness and the physical nature of his play. as carson said, you never have to tell him the same thing twice. he gets it. i really think you're going to see jordan shipley getting a lot of playing time this season, especially if antonio bryant can't come back from the knee injury. >> al: all the longhorn fans know about that. he he was a great punt returner in austin. bernard scott gets halfway to the goal line. >> cris: shipley broke the record of roy williams, the cowboys' receiver there.

>> he had a nickname. he called him noise box. >> a 3-year-old boy trapped and killed in an early morning fire. fire investigators are trying to figure out exactly what caused that fire. flames broke out in the west baltimore home early this morning. 11 news reporter outside the home with new details on this investigation. >> the little boy who died on the second floor of that home was named man and tonight a neighbor and family and friends say that they're devastated they couldn't get the boy out alive. >> the 3-year-old boy was asleep on the second floor of this home around 2:45 this morning when his parents and grandparents downstairs smelled smoke. family friend next door michael weaver smeeled -- smelled it as well. >> i put my hand on the wall,

felt the heat. ran downstairs. the lady was yelling my baby and i looked up and the place was totally engulfed. >> firefighters found flames -- flimes shooting five feet into the air. >> i talked to the grand father. he said he tried to get in. he said he even put a wet cloth over his mouth and he couldn't get in because of the smoke and the fire. >> firefighters say the boy likely died from smoke inhalation and burns. >> fire investigators were here for quite some time this morning producing through debris. our fire investigators are working closely with police and arson detectives as well. >> meanwhile neighbors and friends with heavy hearts are trying to understand how this could have happened. >> we had a nickname. he called him noise box because

he always made noise. he was a happy killed. >> according to neighbors, fire investigators are looking to the possibility that there was an electrical issue with an air conditioning unit in the home. the red cross is assisting the family tonight. >> thank you. tonight one person is dead and three others recovering after a bizarre crash in laurel. it happened shortly after 10:00 this morning amount russett green west and ridgemere crossing. a 60-year-old woman jumped a curb and crushed a light post before she struck three people sitting on a park bench. >> rolled over a couple of times and ended up past the scene. >> officials say the woman is 39, the man 45 and the child just 4. the driver to have vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

authorities in frederick county say two are dead and a third is recovering tonight following a pedestrian accident. the three victims were reportedly leaving a church service this morning when a driver attempting to parallel park struck the roof as well as over vehicles. the two were killed and the third victim remains at shock trauma. authorities are investigating a homicide in harford county. last night paramedics responded to a call on clearview drive in street. they found the body of deborah elaine burgess. >> last night we received a 911 call from the roommate of the victim who believed she had suffered a heart attack. when e.m.s. personnel arrived at the scene it was pretty apparent that it was not heart related and that the victim had suffered some trauma. >> the death is being investigated as a homicide.

anyone with information is asked to call harford crime sol verse and you can remain anonymous. another violent weekend in baltimore city. seven people have been shot. seven people shot since 6:00 last evening. a man was shot multiple times in the 2300 block of jermaine avenue in east baltimore shortly before 3:00 this afternoon. police believe robbery led to the shooting of a man in the 700 block of wolferington road. police say a young man was shot in the 100 block of south fagley street and another shooting on north kenwood left a man in serious condition. police tell us they have no suspects in any of these cases. elaine castro
