an important new clue in the five week man hunt. our vernon odom is live now in paradise township tonight with the latest. vernon. >> good evening right now i'm in the swift water section of paradise township where saerk frein was spotted by a local resident 50 hours ago. she was out for a casual walk. >> she was standing over by an abandoned truck. >> tonight a spoke with the woman who state police are convinced ran into eric frein near her home not far from the high school he attended in monroe county friday night. she's not wanting her identity revealed. she told me it was at this empty house an abandoned truck she spotted the man with a rifle not realizing it was eric freinch the cop-killing suspect on the run up here in the poconos for more than a month. >> he had actually turned towards me and that's where you could see the mudd on his face. you could tell what hite he was based off the truck he was standing next to. >> he had a gun you.

temperatures already 33 in mount poconos and 42 allentown and 40 reading dipped in 51 in philadelphia and in the 30s in millville you can get frost 35, 36 degrees you don't needs to be at freezing because air temperature would be higher than those plants. >> and i only getting 40 in philadelphia. no frost in the city. and 33 in mill villa long the boardwalk in ac. 40s on details of what is ahead after this chilly night in a few minute. >> karen. thank you. well this is is surveillance video of the men police say held up the chicky and petes in drexel hill before opening today. the pair put a gun to manage aers head and got away with thousands of dollars.

>> and gut away car possibly a silver prius. reporting live in drexel hill. phl17, walter. >> thank you, kenneth. the man wanted for a deadly attack at a bar in upper darby is now in police custody. miguel escalone was arrestsed in philadelphia. investigators say he stabbed another man in the neck at a barron marketel earlier this mom the victim died at the hospital. he is in the u.s. illegally and faces several charges including first degree murder. 17 mile police khaiv through delaware down they ended with the car flipped in chadsford. state police began pursuing the vehicle in route 5 2 media and route 1 south to route 352. the driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned. the driver was taken into custody and now faces a long list of

charges. no word tonight why police started pursuing that vehicle in the first place. the hunt is on for the masked man who held up a philadelphia 7-eleven this morning a mish et ceteray. investigators tell us the suspect entered the floor north street, east oak lane after 6 a.m. he threatened clerk with machete and took off with cash. police are hoping someone comes forward with a tip on identity of the suspect. fire officials are working to determine the cause of the fire that forced five people out of their homes in the city's fernrock section. firefighters were called to the 5800 block of north 7th overnight and it took 30 minutes top get the blaze under control. three adults, two year old and teenager were all hospitalized for smoke inhalation. >> family of thomas eric dunkin will be released from isolation in less than two hours for the first time in 21 days free from twice daily "healthcheck" force ebola.

leaves on the ground. even more so now because of the high winds today. nearly tropical storm force winds through the area. look at these gusts, 38 miles an hour. mount pocono, wilmington, 38 miles an hour, atlantic city 35, west chester 33, in philadelphia the top gusts was about 32. as you look at the wind speeds it dropped dramatically. calm throughout the region. 3 mile wind in philadelphia. if we had more wind it would stir up the atmosphere and prevent us from getting that frost. let's take a look right now at the temperatures that we expect as you head out nice and early. it will be a chilly one for the bus stops. in the city, sunshine and clouds, 6 a.m., 40 and by 8 a.m., 41. in the suburbs we'll see temperatures around the freezing mark. in many areas you will need to bundle up a little bit. tonight, partly cloudy skies, chilly, 40 in the city. that's not bad. it is below average. again sitting at 32 degrees in many of the suburbs which is why we have the frost advisories and freeze warnings for overnight hours into tomorrow morning.

37 vineland and bridgeton and 40 right now in dover. those temperatures dropping already. frost warnings these are areas in bright blue. we see them in the lehigh valley, mount pocono, allentown and pine barrens, freeze warnings in effect for those areas. areas of purple much of the rest of the region, frost advisories. and this lasts from 2 to 3:00 in the morning until 8 a.m. you have to protect the sensitive plants. how does that compare to average in the lehigh valley, right about now, october 21 we usually begin with first frost. this would be the first frost for anyone in the region. in the northwest suburb sushz not usually until november 1 and pine barrens november 1. it would be early for. there we're not anticipating frost in the city and that usually happens mid november. some clouds erecteding into the region. you get good radiational cooling. possible frost. temperatures dipping to 32 in

suburbs. 40 in the city. it will be a little milder in the city itself. then tomorrow is a day of transition. we get some sunshine early on and increasing clouds. we stay dry during the day. temperatures not bad. better than today's high of 56. we'll have 61 for the high. showers begin late at night on monday. and then they really stick around for the next few days. you'll see that in the 7-day forecast. let's take a look at how it will be in allentown. clouds increase late. 57 degrees for the high in allentown with a shower late. at the shore, 63 with sunshine fading behind clouds. let's check the exclusive accuweather 7-day forecast, clouds thickening tomorrow. early sunshine and then the clouds thickening throughout the day. 61 for the high. a late-day shower and tuesday clouds and a shower or two, 66, mild, wednesday, damp, chilly and 58 for the high and showers around at any point. thursday a period of rain or two and 59 for the high. in the overnight hours staying in 50s though. no frost after tonight. and then friday, the sun

>> turns out four children and two adults killed at a house fire outside pittsburgh yesterday died of smoke and fume inhalation according to autopsy results released today. investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire that killed a woman, her children ages 2 to 7 and her father in law. the sole survivor is woman's husband who remains in critical condition with burns covering more than half of his body. meantime a cellphone camera captured a dramatic rescue at burning home near fresno, california yesterday. take a look at this. building was barely visible as flames engulfed structure. it turns out a middle aged man was inside and adult daughter screamed for somebody to save minimum and maybes forced back by roaring flames and this man in the blue hat saved the day. >> i noticed there was a guy in cap that just started walking

northeast philadelphia. this was not an emergency but what philadelphia firefighters hope is a reson on how to prevent one. katherine scott was at the fire safety expo. >> the traditional start of the fire safety expo significance in muster. dozens of fire departments from all over the region rolled into the philadelphia fire academy in northeast philadelphia to show off their wares and abilities. from the bucket brigade to speed dressing contest, firefighters arrived ready to impress and show onlookers some of the skills they need to use every day. >> i thought it was really cool how fast they got dressed. >> firefighters get up the ladder for the fire. >> crowds gathered to watch the fire boat demonstration on the water and check outlines of fire equipment old and new. admission was free. proceeds from concessions and raffles go towards maintaining fire museum and providing free
