sedgely. a man was hit several times in the stomach and leg. another man was shot twice in the legs. they are being treated at temple university hospital. no word what set off that gunfire. tonight a final salute to a pennsylvania state trooper shot accidentally by a colleague. friends and family will celebrate the life and service of david kedra with a viewing at givnish funeral home in northeast philadelphia. the viewing begins at 6:00. trooper kedra was 26 years old and recently engaged. he was a 2012 graduate of the police academy and served at the skippack barracks in montgomery county. the roman catholic high and temple grad died when another trooper's gun accidentally discharged in conshohocken. he'll be played to rest tomorrow during a private burial. happening today, mixed reaction as convicted cop killer mumia abu-jamal gives a speech

her home. police were called to the home where they found a distraught woman. she said she was attacked and held by a man sean gallagher on warner road. neighbors said they heard gun shots. when police investigated they found bullet holes in the home and gallagher has been arrested. it's official a young boy from a mercer county school did die from the entrovirus 68. officials want to make it clear who is most at risk, as several other children are being tested one from the very same school. kenneth moten has more from the children's hospital. >> reporter: here at children's hospital, at last check doctors were waiting on results for three children. meanwhile, hamilton township said there's no need for panic after the death of the four-year-old boy, but remain vigilant when it comes to hygiene. at yardville elementary school,

>> islamic militants made the threat his life. isis has allegedly killed two marriages. in "healthcheck," this morning, rutgers university reachers have found a way to get babies to speak sooner. the scientists played videos which taught them to focus on specific noises that are essential to speech. the baby's brain waves showed they developed stronger language center. it worked with babies as young as 4 months old. it's a strong study, but the strategy may work into toils and games that parents could cruise to help their kids get a ahead start.
