snow for those folks, the two will come together off new england and form a monster storm. that means strong gusty winds today and tomorrow. it will be damp and raw with a breeze, temperatures slowly climbing into the upper 40s and, again, not looking too nice with the breeze. when we come back we'll talk about future tracker 6 i'll show you that and when it gets on out of here and we'll talk about the warmup in the seven-day forecast. >> strike averted, septa and its union workers have reached a tentative agreement that will keep transit worker operating buses trolleys and subways. both sides say there are wage increases and they agreed the deal was fair. earlier in the week the union said they wanted a five year

deal, union head willie brown touched don that. >> it will give us an opportunity to work over the next two years to solidify our concerns. >> this is a tentative deal until brown presents it too union employees there will be a vote next friday. breaking news live on the action cam a stretch of broad street is closed for a hit-and-run investigation. a young woman was hit by two vehicles in front of temple university hospital. one stopped the second ran over her and took off. police have shut down broad street between tioga while accident investigators conduct their investigation both sides of broad street are shut down right now. new overnight, a shooter spray a home while a family was asleep inside. bullets riddled the front door and windows of the first and second floor.

three adults and a young girl were inside the home. nobody was hit. police think the shooter now on the run was armed with an ar15 assault rival. children in barrett county were able to celebrate halloween after all. halloween was canceled because eric frein was on the run. pennsylvania state police joined the children for halloween fun. parents say after being worried about being outside for seven weeks they enjoyed the night. >> this is eric frein moments after he was charged with murder. he made his first court appearance after shooting two state troopers killing one. he was captured thursday on the grounds of an abandoned resort in tanersville. people asked him if he was sorry

for his actions. frein is being held in a maximum security cell. >> reporter: for seven weeks law enforcement agencies combed the wooded area in the poconos, but on day 49 a money dane grid walk became monumental. u.s. marshal scott malkowsky was the first to spot eric frein. i saw this guy, i thought what is he doing here and then i knew it was him. the somewhat team closed in on frein. the marshalls hunted him down while searching an banded airstrip and resort. he describes the heart racing moment when he and frein made eye contact.

>> he turned toward me, i identified him as law enforcement, i said get on the ground. i said who are you, what else your name. he said eric frein. >> reporter: he ordered him to get on the ground. the search team formed a 360 perimeter around the suspect and radioed in they had their man. >> that's what the marshalls do, we hunt fudge fugitives, that's our job. >> reporter: eric frein was charged in pike county court charged with wounding alex douglas and killing bryon dickson september 12. bryon dickson's parents spoke out showing appreciation for those who worked to get their son's accused killer. >> thank you, more than ever will they know they are our family. >> 6abc.com has expanded coverage of eric frein's

coast. as these come together off the coast of new england the pressure drops off, the winds will pick up, the high pressure moves in that creates the wind tunnel we get the northwesterly winds. you'll feel it tomorrow, wind gusts could exceed 35 miles per hour. some locations closer to the water wouldn't surprise me if you reach a 40-mile an hour gust. that low will link up with the coastal. we'll see a couple of low low pressures this afternoon. windy and raw. monday it starts to pull away a little, high pressure works on in. tomorrow, windy and chilly, with windchills in the upper 30s. all morning long cloudy skies and patchy fog periods of rain, north and west, looks like you'll clear out a little bit, at least in terms of of the falling precipitation, let's say 1, 2:00, lightly raining toward the coast, 6:00, 7:00.
