the is—time major winner is looking to make the cut at augusta national for a record—breaking21ith consecutive time but woods has started just one tournament in 2024 — the genesis invitational in february which he had to withdraw from because he had the flu. but he has a special relationship with the masters. this tournament has meant so much to me in my life and my family. i think have been playing here for 29 years now and it has, it was the ultimate to stay in the crows nest and to watch byron and sam and james tee off on the first hole. and it has been a part of my life to have won here, my first major as a pro. hugging my dad and then full—circle, in �*i9 hugging my son. it has meant a lot to my family. it has meant a lot to me and i always want to keep playing so today we have a chance to play with fred and fred has been here a very long time and we were joking that he is the oldest person ever to make the cut and i think he can do it again this year. it is great. that is the neat thing about this golf course. same venue each year and we get to tell stories and catch up with friend
