right now it is 55 degrees in frederick where we have the fog that's developed. 55 in manassas. no fog here. 61 in fredricksburg and 61 right now in annapolis. and on our wide view of satellite and radar, we have the two weather features that have been a part of our forecast for the past couple of days. area of low pressure that brought all that early morning heavy rain yesterday is now up into new england and the winds on the back side of that storm system have moved away from us as well. remember, it got a little dusty -- gusty from time to time yesterday. that is out of the picture now. this sprawling area of high pressure is huge. it's covering basically about a third of the country. that's going to continue to slowly drift our way as we head through the next couple of days and that will lead to some really, really wonderful weekend weather for us. so today's high temperatures under that mostly sunny sky, a high of 77 in hagerstown and westminster. a few more clouds in the picture the further south you go. 76 in gaithersburg. 79 in culpeper. and 78 in downtown d.c. overnight

we're looking good on the dulles toll road and even on 66 which slows down manassas into centreville. again, that's typical as well. let's go back over to the maps. wants to tell you a couple of things. first of all on the bw parkway, i've been telling you earlier about a crash inside the beltway near route 410. that was cleared up. it left some delays coming in from the beltway. looks like that is fine right now. over in anne arundel, east fur nat branch road will be closed -- furnace branch road will be closed through the rush hour. it was a fatal early morning crash near route 648. they opened up 648. you're fine there but east furnace branch road will remain closed for some time. you want to watch out for a medical emergency near telegraph road. everything i think has moved on but left some traffic. i'll see if we can check out the 14th street bridge. 95 looks good as you come up from dale city to springfield but once you get on 395, you're beginning to see some brake lights as you come up from duke street to the 14th street bridge though the lanes are open. no issues to report at
