So I found an old Toshiba USB external hard drive and I was using Recuva (data recovery software) and I found all these really old Microsoft Commercials on them which I have never seen before or have ever put on these before but I thought they were an interesting find.

Head Mouseketeer Jimmie Dodd promotes the Mousegetar (as seen on the show) and a cheaper jack-in-the-box style crank-toy, the Mousegetar Jr., in this 1955 commercial. Can't say for certain, but this probably debuted during episode #30 of "the Mickey Mouse Club" (November 11, 1955) after Dodd was presented with his Mousegetar by the Mouseketeers. The Mousegetar retailed for $4 and the Mousegetar Jr. for $1.80, but today they sell in the triple-digits.

This is a reel of mid-century cereal commercials that was distributed commercially on VHS back in the eighties or nineties. Many of them contain well-known cartoon characters shilling the sugar. This tape was ripped from a crappy old damaged VHS by me and is uploaded as a QuickTime movie. Mild audio restoration was done to remove 60Hz hum and a 12kHz squeal. There is also a JPG scanned from the back of the VHS box detailing the contents.

1982 demo reel from MAGI Synthavision, perhaps best known for producing a good chunk of the CGI for the feature film Tron. Although no Tron footage appears in their demo reel, after the film came out it's obvious all of their clients of the period wanted their commercials to "look like Tron," so the designs are very familiar.
