Clerks: The Animated Series. 6 episodes have been upscaled from 480p to 1080P resolution. I first ran them trough a deinterlacing algorithm to get rid of the weird interlacing issues from old Cartoons. I then upscaled them from 480 to 1080. Commentary tracks are also in the MKVs.

Fifty years later, what can science tell us about the Kennedy assassination—and the investigations that followed? The 1963 murder, in broad daylight in front of hundreds of witnesses, might seem to be a homicide investigator’s best-case scenario. Yet somehow the JFK assassination became a forensic nightmare, plagued by a controversial autopsy and, incredibly, a prime suspect murdered on live television while in police custody, before he could be tried. As a result, today millions of...

Paris-born actress Claudette Colbert was brought to New York at the age of seven by her banker father. She planned an art career after high school graduation, studying at the Art Student's League. Attending a party with actress Anne Morrison, the 18-year-old was offered a three-line bit in Morrison's new play The Wild Westcotts. That ended her art aspirations, and Colbert embarked on a stage career in 1925, scoring her first big critical success in the 1926 Broadway production of The Barker, in...

The 1970s saw Coronation Street 's production team dealing with problems routinely besetting long-running soaps - how to write and structure the show when a favourite character leaves or dies, and how to manage audience reaction. When, in 1970, Arthur Leslie (who played the genial Rovers landlord, Jack Walker) died suddenly, his character was laid to rest too. Anne Reid determined to leave the show in 1971, and was written out, electrocuting herself with a faulty hairdryer. Granada 's strategy...

Arguably the 1960s saw the best of Coronation Street , with terrific characters, snappy dialogue and plots mirroring real working-class life. In a tradition it was to continue, it was dominated by powerful female characters, most memorably Ena Sharples, caretaker of the church hall and a no-nonsense upholder of traditional values. Often to be found over a milk stout in the snug of the Rovers Return, the hair-netted Ena would hold court with her friends and confidants, the mousy Minnie Caldwell...

Yacht Rock from Channel101 Copied from http://www.channel101.com/show/171 Description from the website: What can be said about Yacht Rock that hasn't been said by various magazines, newspapers and disc jockeys across the country? Viewers who rued that Coronation Street had long abandoned its working-class realism for broad comic appeal would find little in the 1990s to dispel their fears. Audiences are likely to remember the decade for its great comic scenes - Ken Barlow struggling to teach Raquel Wolstenhulme French ("voulez-vous coucher avec moi, Ken?") or Reg Holdsworth's ill-fated seduction scene on a leaky waterbed. Even the tragic bore strong elements of black comedy - Terry Duckworth selling his baby to...

Coronation Street faced the first real challenge to its soap supremacy in the 1980s with the arrival of Channel 4 's Brookside (1982-2003) and the BBC 's EastEnders (1985- ), both promoted as portraying real life in real locations, in opposition to the Street, which many believed had sought security in less challenging, largely studio-bound, comedy-drama. By May 1984, Ken Barlow stood alone of the original cast, and the press predicted the Street's downfall. The producers reacted by...

A British commercial. It's a shame this commercial wasn't filmed in 3D. Although cigarette advertising on TV was illegal on UK television by that point, cigar advertising remained legal for some time afterward. I found this ad as an easter egg on the DVD release of ITV sitcom  Down the Gate.
