we have a collaborative effort we work very closely with the naacp. the black church and other civic and community organizations. we mobilize from december theár fourth 1999 we brought people in from all over the state we have to get a consensus. a lot of time neither of us we had to bring the people to the table we had to discuss it. and we all voted whether or not we were able to put this in march together from december 4 to generate 17. and i was a man who was a preacher he stood up and said we can't do this. we don't have enough time. i thank god for our young people thousand a student from■3g university heard about that meeting on the day of the meeting came to columbia, south carolina stood up and said we can do it they said call for the vote. no more discussion. and we voted that we are going to do it. we mobilize over 50000 people. so in south carolina first of all we know what our ancestors did on a critical situation and we stand on their shoulders. we're going have the vision to know we come together and mobilize and walk back faith and
