that yellow in new castle county is trying to push up towards newark and maybe towards wilmington. we've also seen an occasional flash of lightning there. it's possible that heavy stuff sort of spins back into maryland and misses wilmington. a lot of thunderstorms off the coast of north jersey and trenton has heavier rain highlight in there yellow just to your east pushing in your direction so trenton might also get a little steadier rain before too much longer. the northern and western suburbs dry for now and probably staying dry or at least drier for much of the day. there's the wide view on satellite and radar. at least it will stay cloudy today. there are more bands of rain down to the south that may try to wiggle their way into the region as we go later into the morning. 56 degrees in philadelphia, 55 in allentown. obviously it's a cool start across the region even down at the shore 56 in sea isle city. and as we head out the door over the next couple hours to catch that school bus or get the car started looks like we're stuck in the mid 50, rain in spots, cloudy skies ann lit

it is heading towards chadds ford and moving through newark delaware and there is more on the waste and as you step outside it certainly is a warm day. big problems though regarding how much rain we have gotten in lancaster. close to three and a half inches of rain, so flood advisory now extended for lancaster county until 4:00 in the morning. it also extend into western berks county. redding about 3 inches, already and it is not over quite yet. stepping outside though it is tropical. philadelphia 71 degrees. down from our high of 77. allentown 70. wilmington 70. millville 69. sea isle city 69 degrees. dew points right around there air is really saturated. is there plenty of moisture to pull from the atmosphere and satellite six with action radar is really showing focus of all of this tropical air this low pressure spinning over the the ohio valley. this is what is really helping pull up that moisture. a cold front will be sliding through tomorrow morning but ahead of it we have another round of heavy rain. so future tracker is showing 6:30 in the morning heavy rain especially along the

if you're heading out of town, we have a delay in newark. i'm not sure what the cause is. they are running a half-hour hind. if you're driving up to catch one of those long international flights check online with the airline to make sure everything is okay. in allentown, 63 degrees, lots of sun and pleasant in the lehigh valley. a little cool, but seasonable, kind of what you would expect to see in late october in allentown. more of the same in atlantic city, high of 64. lots of sun winds on the light side. in philadelphia, we're going for a high of 635 this afternoon. mostly sunny and pleasant conditions, as well. winds generally 7 to 14 miles per hour. maybe gusting higher than that occasionally, but these are light winds overall, a gentle breeze hunching your shoulders a little bit, not too bad. 51 in philadelphia, some suburbs will go down into the low to mid 40s, don't know that we'll get any 30s like we did last night, but possibility. as we go into the evening commute, sun and clouds, maybe a things move in later on. pleasant enough. 65 by 4:00. 63 by 5:30, 7:00 p.m
