pamela jane rock was born august 6, 1961 john and jane rock of plantation, florida. she was the 14th and youngest child of an amazing family. growing up she attended st. gregory's catholic school and plantation and st. thomas aquinas high school and graduated in 1984 with a bachelor in science and nutrition in dietetics. during her time at u.f. she was a proud member of the university fighting gatorarching band for four years. she was one of a kind in all that she did. after college she worked for the state of florida, the alachua c. her passion of service continued when she spent three years with the peace corps in guatemala educating women in proper nutrition for families. in return to the u.s. she ventured out west toime on an in reservation, also educating women on infants nutritional needs. she then returned to■ú7; gainesville, florida, in january of 2022 where she joined the u.s. postal service and pursued a career as a a letter carrier. with the desire to give back, she's remembered for placing an apple along with the mail for the residents along her route.
