right now we're at 48 degrees in oakland, 46 in napa, 41 in sonoma. very chilly start in parts of the north bay, as well as the sought county with san martin at 43 degrees. as we take a look at our highs, a big recovery as we go throughout the day. los gatos will reach a high of 77 and a high of 77 in antioch and concord, 73 in oakland. mid-70s from palo alto, while daly city will be up to 64. the ingleside district will see temperatures in the mid-70s. a big warm-up as high pressure builds across the region, and eventually there will be changes as the high pressure moves away. we can see this low that will be sliding down the coast and very close to the bay area. that may bring us not only rain, but the possibility of thunderstorms. then the sierra gets more snow, as we're going to see one more blast of winter. hopefully that will be it. we are doing pretty well with our sierra snowpack, right now at 112% of its normal amount around the tahoe area. northern sierra, 127% of normal. there will be additional light snow going into the weekend, about 2 to

it is game over for the athletics in oakland. the a's announced this morning they will leave the east bay in 2025 and move to a temporary home in west sacramento. they're going to play at the sutter health park, home to the minor league sacramento rivercats. the two teams are going to share that facility. a's president, dave cavel, says a deal with oakland was just not a viable option. he says this also gives the sacramento area a chance to prove it can support a big league team full time. >> i think the next few years will be a great way to showcase the interest in baseball and that has happened with the rivercats. i think the next few years will be a continuation of that. >> now the a's and the rivercats will have a deal for 2025 through 2027 season. they have an option for the 2028 season if their vegas ballpark isn't ready. >>> now sacramento cheers, oakland fans
